Understanding Your Car's Performance

Why is a lightweight Maruti Swift surprisingly fast compared to a heavy SUV with the same engine? The answer lies in the Power-to-Weight Ratio.

What is Power-to-Weight Ratio?

It is the amount of power available for each tonne of the vehicle's weight.

Formula: (BHP / Weight in kg) * 1000

A higher ratio means better acceleration and fuel efficiency. Supercars often have a ratio of over 500 BHP/Ton, while regular city cars are around 70-100 BHP/Ton.

0-100 km/h Estimation

This calculator uses a physics-based estimation formula to predict how fast your vehicle can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h. While tires, gearbox, and driver skill matter, the raw numbers give you a great baseline!
