Never Get Stranded: Calculate Your Bike's Range
We've all been there—the fuel needle hits the red mark or the bike goes into "Reserve". The panic sets in: "Will I reach the petrol pump?"
How to Estimate?
Knowing your vehicle's range is crucial for long rides or daily commutes. The calculation is straightforward:
Total Range = Fuel (Litres) × Mileage (Km/L)
Reserve Capacity
Most Indian bikes have a reserve capacity of 1 to 1.5 Liters. If your bike gives a mileage of 50 Km/L, hitting reserve means you still have about 50-75 Km of range left. However, it's unsafe to push it to the limit as fuel sediment can damage the engine.
